RJE Telecom Potsdam, NY Fiber route design for broad band builds for DANC (Development Agency of North Country) Verizon and Frontier Tel.   I also inspected the build of designed routes for aerial and buried fiber plant.

Outside Plant Engineer-Network Engineer.

Successfully managed the design, construction and maintenance of telecommunication facilities in 27 Verizon wire centers (approximately 100,000 access lines) in Northern NY covering

St Lawrence, Jefferson and Lewis counties. Project managed several large FIOS projects.

Performed the pricing and estimating of labor and materials for large undertakings.  

Designed pole lines, underground systems and buried route for fiber and cooper design.

Designed a numerous DOT (Dept of Transportation) road re-alignment projects.

Designed fiber/mux jobs to cell sites for T-1 and T-3 and Ethernet

Designed HVP (high voltage protection) equipment for Brookfield and National Grid power distribution and generation sites. 

Familiar with and directed all aspects of construction.

Project manager and design for the FIOS and FTTC (fiber to the cell site) throughout the Central New York area. 

Repaired and installed telephony service on a limited basis.

 

Employed with Lambic Telecom, Henkels and McCoy and Burnup and Sims at various Bell operating companies in 7 different states.                                             June-1973 to Nov 1980
